Senior Business Analyst / Product Owner

• Experience working in IT, understanding of SDLC, automation, DevOps
• Experience working with team on discovery, phases, and responsibilities, ability to guide and communicate complicated topics to client
• Experience with project scope, roadmap management
• Effectively prioritize and complete tasks under pressure
• Works well independently with a minimum of supervision

Good to have:

• Knowledge of UX\UI
• Complementary Training/ Certifications in Business Analytics
• Bachelor/Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, Statistics, Applied Math, Economics, industrial engineering, business administration, or a related degree (ex. Marketing)
• Experience with BI and data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Grafana, Qlik, PowerBI, and other BigData architectures and Data Science tools such as Cloudera, Splunk, HBase, Impala, R, Python, Spark, D3, etc
• Understanding of data science concepts and expertise in data analysis and visualization
• Demonstrating Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, and Data Visualization technologies
• Working knowledge of IT Infrastructure fundamentals (Compute architecture, Databases, Web and Application Communications, Storage subsystems, Networks) 
• Extensive experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Kafka, ETL tools, and analytics tools

• Participation in presale activities and discovery
• Leading sessions and meeting with clients
• Understand the development of structures or procedures for data collection and analysis. Visualize the project and present the information resulting from data analysis in a way that allows it to be interpreted and assimilated efficiently and effectively. Obtain a holistic view of the data and information of the business processes and operations in order to be part of the possible recommendations, based on objective information, to support the management decisions that affect the development of the operations
• Work with client team members and business stakeholders to identify business information needs, document requirements, initiatives, and strategic projects, and design and development of analytical models/reports
• Support the timely and accurate generation of periodic and ad-hoc statuses or reports, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and standardization across multiple types of reports and reporting tools that lead to problem resolution and business improvement recommendations
• Understand and learn from the processes of extracting, transforming, and aggregating data of different types to model and create reports and dashboards for operational teams throughout the company
• Collect and interpret data from a variety of tools and systems. Define data gathering techniques, clean / prepare data sets, and manage metadata
• Collaborate with our firm-wide partners to understand available data and leverage it for our reporting needs; transform (clean, massage, structure, aggregate) available data as needed for processing/analysis
• Validate and analyze results, discover patterns, and devise efficient ways of reporting them back to stakeholders
• Deliver technical changes and define new data collection and analysis processes to improve reporting capabilities over time
• Transform data into insights that lead to proactive problem identification and resolution
• Assist client stakeholders in developing the product vision, scope and requirements
• Generate and discuss/approve improvements with client stakeholders
• Elicit requirements through interviews, document analysis, business process mapping, use cases, scenarios, task and workflow analysis
• Lead the preparation of deliverables including business process flows, UI mock-ups, use cases, and storyboards
• Documents functional specifications and user stories in collaboration with other members of the development team
• Supports test case and scenario definition
