What is the project and why should you care?

We are looking for experienced Quality Engineers to join our team working on Vivino. As the world’s largest online wine marketplace and most downloaded wine app, the Vivino community comprises millions of wine drinkers from around the world, coming together to make buying the right wine simple, straightforward, and fun. Vivino uses crowd-sourced data to personalize wine recommendations so that every community member feels confident about their wine choices. Created for everyone who likes wine—from the wine curious to the wine enthusiast—the Vivino app is free on both Apple and Android devices.

You will be an excellent fit for this position if you have:

Experience & Skill Requirements:

●      3-5 years of relevant experience in Manual Testing

●      Good to have Automation Testing experience

●      Experience in Mobile, Web Applications, API, and DB Testing

●      Strong Experience in Testing Concepts/Techniques/Methodologies and Functional testing

●      Hands-on experience in test design, test data preparation, and execution  

●      Experience in RCA, IA, Test Results analysis, and Defect Tracking

●      Experience working in DevOps environment, Agile and Scrum Teams

●      Commitment towards quality and continuous improvement

●      Good Oral and written communication skills

Mandatory skills:

●      Hands-on experience in developing SQL scripts for database testing

●      Good understanding of different Test Automation Frameworks

●      Ability to develop test scenarios using the BDD approach

●      Knowledge of Git, GitHub, and CI/CD implementation

Good to have:

●      Hands-on experience in using licensed/open-source Test Automation Tools like Appium, Selenium, or Katalon Studio

●      Coding skills using any of the following: Ruby, Python, Java, or Groovy

Qualification: BS/MS in computer science or related subjects

Here are some of the things you’ll be working on:

●      Work as part of the QA team(Manual and Automation Test Engineering) to design, implement and maintain test solutions for iOS/Android/Web applications and backend

●      You will be able to help the team to find the right balance between test automation and manual testing

●      You will have a prominent role in the process of developing the way the team works with testing and quality assurance

●      You will coordinate with various offshore and onsite teams for requirements gathering and testing activities

●      Use test skills and technical know-how in close collaboration with developers

●      Align with the organization’s work culture by actively contributing to the team development
