3+ years of experience in performing proofreading in various languages on websites

  • A graduate from any discipline
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and good time management
  • Good team working skills
  • Good in MS Office skills

Able to communicate effectively through a range of media, to various levels in the organization


  • To undergo the Indegene Induction
  • To complete the “Your i45 Training Plan” within 45 days of Joining
  • To complete EMCE Specific Training
  • Complete the test packs and clear with 100% quality ( maximum attempts 3)
  • Training will be prolonged in case test packs are not cleared
  • Shadowing will be done for 10 iDetail/RTE files and 5 banners
  • Should take project-based training/mentoring the resources.
  • Ensure the training records are up to dates
  • Shadowing the new folk for the certifications
  • Cross functional training with other client process


  • Upon receipt of the task mail in the inbox, should enter the details in their respective individual production tracker
  • Check and ensure the job has been delivered from our end, as per the client TAT
  • Should notify the Team lead if there are more pages well in advance so that the jobs can be shared to meet the timelines
  • Should check Task Template mails related to that particular project
  • The script file and the output file should be downloaded from the respective SVN links
  • Performs proofreading character to character of final output file against script file and finalise
    the content
  • Check for all the necessary elements and icons on the file (Graphics, logos, colors etc.) are placed as per the script
  • Fill the checklist by cross checking against the file and copy the same in the SVN server
  • Send signoff mail to concern PM, if no changes are required
  • In case of any errors, consolidated bug report has to be created via iExtract tool
  • The SVN link need to be updated to review the amendments (IFF) comments
  • The task need to be closed which is routed through Mysheet
  • Complete the random check sampling jobs as per the given timelines
  • Should act as a backup Lead when team Lead on leave
  • Scope of proofreading includes all the languages
  • Check the accuracy of Daily production tracker based on their subordinates on a daily basis
  • Validate the accuracy of their subordinate Checklist on a daily basis
  • Give routing to their subordinates through Mysheet
  • Ensure the client TAT adherence internally


  • In case of any queries, check with Team lead/Seniors/Mentor or Buddy and if needed send clarification mail to the creative team copying in the relevant leads
  • Send the signoff mails immediately after the task completion to the creative team copying  all as in the trail task mail
  • Follow up if any clarification is pending from creative team
  • Update Job status to the Lead before He/she signing off for the day
  • Use standard template for similar kind of communication

  • Adhere and follow quality systems, processes and policies
  • Following specific instruction provided related to the individual project

Floor Etiquette and Punctuality:

  • Adhering to the login and logouts & Break timings
  • Need to Plan leaves in advance and keep the Team Lead/RM informed
  • Maintain corporate demeanour and follow a dress code of smart casuals and formals during
    client visit
  • Maintain a healthy environment in the team and keep a positive attitude with the
    fellow colleagues
  • Acknowledge the feedback given by the lead during one to one and maintain a healthy discussion in case of any issues and concern

Quality Target:

  • Internal RFT should be 99%
  • External RFT should be 100%

Productivity Target:

  • 5 – ≥140% of the team capacity
  • 4 – ≥120% & <140% of the team capacity
  • 3 – ≥100% & <120% of the team capacity
  • 2 – ≥75% & <100% of the team capacity
  • 1 – <75% of the team capacity

Knowledge sharing/mentoring/Initiatives:

  • Should be able to take project-based training/mentoring the resources
  • Performing second check for new folk until the new folk is/are certified
  • Should be able to take knowledge sharing sessions with the team
  • Should be able to help the team members and helping in their Queries. To build up a rapport with the team members
  • Taking initiatives to improve the process and documenting the procedures whenever needed
  • Tracking and Capturing of all the updates and updating this in the central updates folder
  • Should be able to help the Team lead in preparation of weekly & monthly reports, billing data etc.
  • Should be able to take up responsibility in the absence of Team Lead
  • Should be able to do assignment of jobs in the absence of leads/when needed
  • Conducting one to one on a monthly basis and performance review during the appraisal cycle
  • Participate in hiring by conducting interviews and give feedback
  • Should be able to interact with clients, coordinates with the team and provides project status update reports as and when necessary
  • Should be part of the team activities across the different stream of the BU
  • Should work as a  team in achieving the goals
