What is the project and why should you care?
A group of us sportsbook industry professionals got together in 1997 to create a product that could help local bookies. We created PayPerHead to take bookies to the next level of managing their books. We designed the first version of our bookie management software to highly organize and streamline an agent’s day-to-day functions.
Since that time, we’ve continued to introduce new features that help bookies grow their businesses and make more money. At the same time, we’ve greatly improved their player’s experiences in betting on sports and casinos.
We cover over 80 sports leagues to suit any player’s tastes, with in-game and props betting. We now have premium and 3D digital casino games, along with 2 live dealers to keep your players entertained at any time, day or night. You can keep making money even while you sleep.
PayPerHead has consistently led the way in creating amazing software to help bookies improve and grow their businesses for over 20 years.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, industrial engineering, business administration, or a related degree.
- Complementary Training / Desirable – Certifications in Business Analytics.
Work Experience
- 2.5 years of experience in data and database management, analysis and visualization, Extraction, Transformation and Loading (ETL), within technology industries.
- Knowledge of metrics (KPI’s), reports and dashboards
- Excel (advanced: macros, pivot tables, external data connections)
- Knowledge (intermediate: data integration, transformation and visualization) of Tableau (essential) or data analysis and visualization tools (PowerBI, Qlik).
Skills and Abilities
- Willingness to develop domain knowledge of the fundamentals of relational databases and data analysis techniques.
- Support in the creation of reports, reports and dashboards, as well as in the flow of data: manipulation and impacts.
- Contribution in detailed presentations for important audiences (in size and hierarchy).
- Mapping and data management in multiple departments and processes.
- Work with global teams in different time zones.
- Work independently and collaboratively, strong interpersonal skills including assertiveness and customer-oriented mindset.
- Being responsible for tasks and contributing to decision-making.
- Excellent time management skills
- History of strong problem-solving skills and action-oriented mindset
- Good attitude to execute the task and creative implementation of technology.
- Able to cope with pressure and demonstrate a reasonable level of flexibility/adaptability.

Here are all the things you’ll get to do on the project:
- Understand the development of structures or procedures for the capture and collection of data and their respective analysis. Visualize/project and present the information resulting from data analysis, in a way that allows it to be interpreted and assimilated efficiently and effectively. Obtain a holistic view of the data and information of the business processes and operations in order to be part of the possible recommendations, based on objective information, to support management decision-making that impacts the development of operations.
- Collaborate in proactively determining the root causes and possible alternative solutions to operational problems in accordance with the set of priorities established by the Strategic Analysis management related to all core business processes.
- Partner and collaborate with departments to manage expectations and ensure successful achievement of operational objectives aligned with Strategic Analysis parameters.
- Promotion and proactive detection of improvement opportunities within the parameters of the Strategic Analysis department.
- Collaborate in the development of optimal knowledge solutions to increase the general impact and the promotion of the accessibility of knowledge throughout the organization.
- Work with Strategic Analysis team members and business stakeholders to identify business information needs, document requirements, initiatives, strategic projects, design and development of analytical models/reports.
- Support the timely and accurate generation of periodic and ad hoc information, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and standardization across various types of reports and reporting tools that lead to problem resolution and business improvement recommendations.
- Understand and learn from the processes of extracting, transforming and compiling data of multiple natures for modeling and preparation of reports and dashboards for operations teams throughout the company.
- Prepare and iterate the visualization boards and ensure their implementation in production, assuming responsibilities for maintenance, updating and presentation of ongoing reports (Spreadsheets – Scorecards – Dashboards) with established frequencies.
- Participate in the collaboration of material to create, promote and direct presentations for the different related procedures.
- Is responsible for materials, tools and equipment assigned both to him/herself and to the collaborators under his/her authority.
- As an essential part of his/her job, he/she manages the expense budget and capital investments (CapEx) for the entire department.
- Responsibility for the handling of data and confidential information of financial impact and strategic scope that is not known by other positions at the department level
