Lead of Learning and Development
What is the project and why should you care?
Symphony Solutions, having its headquarters based in Amsterdam (The Netherlands) is a fast-growing international organization that is providing Western-European clients with high-quality IT, BPO, and Consultancy services.
You will be an excellent fit for this position if you have:
- 3-5 years of experience in learning and development, leading direction
- 4+ years of relevant experience in Human Resources
- Experience within the Tech sector
- Professional certification/degree in HR/L&D/psychology, education, business, and/or related business experience
- Able to design and produce relevant training materials including e-learning courses
- Familiarity with e-learning platforms
- Solves problems quickly and resolves issues
- Communicates effectively and engages with employees
- Analytical ability
- Remote experience
- Creating learning strategies – Develop and implement a comprehensive learning and development strategy that identifies and addresses skills gaps across Symphony Solutions
- Evaluating development needs
- Assessing learning effectiveness – Evaluate all learning solutions to measure success and identify opportunities for improvement
- Managing budgets and vendor relationships
- Manage the training matrix for the company and ensure that all mandatory training is completed on time
- To develop and work to a set of KPI’s
- Collaborate closely with department heads and senior leadership to tailor learning programs to the specific needs of different teams
- Stay updated on industry trends and supplier offerings to ensure the quality and relevance of our learning programs
Here are some of the things you’ll be working on:
- Provides overall guidance on training and talent development activities throughout Symphony
- Diagnoses organizational needs, identifies training needs and determines project costs/benefits, recommends the appropriate mix and emphasis to improve organizational effectiveness, and implements the agreed plan
- Reviews and evaluates the effectiveness of programs
- Designs and produces training materials
- Works with the development plans
- Acts as the principal point of contact for anyone with questions about training and development
