Head of Pre-Sales

Symphony Solutions is looking for Head of Pre-Sales to lead pre-sales team – key players in the process of wining the new deals.

Job Purpose

Head of Pre-Sales is leading pre-sales team who are key players in the process of wining the new deals by helping sales and delivery organization to:

  • Properly gather the client’s requirements
  • Prepare the right proposal
  • Present it to the client in the best way
  • Ensure we are committing on what we can deliver

Head of Pre-Sales reports directly to VP Delivery. He works close with Solution Architects, Service Delivery Managers and actively interacting with existing and new clients.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Secure the trust and confidence of prospects and customers in our ability to deliver value with our solutions
  • Present solution overviews and deliver product demonstrations to executive audiences
  • Develop business cases, proposals and statements of work
  • Engagement with client key stakeholders, presenting company strategy, services. Build trusted relationship with the client
  • Find the best among all possible tech solutions based on the Client’s needs and expectations
  • Work together with Service Delivery Manager and Product Owner on scoping, delivery planning of the projects. Ensure the right estimation process
  • Developing standards for commercial proposals Symphony provides to the clients
  • Evolve the presales process according to the corporate strategy

Qualifications

Required

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills 
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management and public groups
  • 5-7 years experience in software development area in the role of Product Management , Project Manager, Software Developer or QA 
  • Broad knowledge in cutting edge software technologies  
  • Experience in leading and mentoring one or more software development teams
  • Experience with Lean / Agile / Scrum and team scaling practices and frameworks (SAFe, Less or other)
  • At least one year of experience in solution architecture functions in service or product companies:
    • Building trusted relationships with clients / internal customers
    • Influencing senior decision-makers
    • Leading medium to large size solution delivery projects
    • Analysis of business, product and technology requirements

Desirable

  • Experience working with US/European clients
  • Project and resource management skills
  • Certifications on: Architecture frameworks, Cloud providers, Scrum or scaling frameworks
