Symphony Solutions Hosts Java Talks in Lviv and Krakow
This week, Symphony Solutions hosted two Java Talks and welcomed Java enthusiasts.
In Krakow, attendees had the chance to listen to Szymon Kaczorowski, skilled in Java, Oracle Database, Agile methodologies, and Spring, while in Lviv, they enjoyed presentations by two Symphonians Mykola Makhin, passionate about Java platform and web development in Java and Vitaliy Kulikov, experienced in enabling the world’s leading businesses to innovate through cloud computing.
The Java Talks in Krakow kicked off with an inspirational speech by Szymon Kaczorowski. He gave a presentation on how Spring 5 that is using Project Reactor as a base can use the Asynchronous processing of data. He took the audience through some demo tests and concluded his presentation with examples of industries where it can be used.
When asked about his expectations of the event, Szymon, who is working as Senior Java Developer at Symphony, replied:
“I didn’t expect that many people to attend Java Talks. It was a great opportunity to meet and connect from people in Krakow IT community. ”
In Lviv, attendees had the pleasure to listen to Mykola Makhin, a team lead for commercial software development since 2006 and Vitaliy Kulikov, a team lead with over 25 years of experience, specializing in Software Craftsmanship. Mykola explored the differences between several messaging systems (namely RabbitMQ, Amazon SQS and Apache Kafka), while Vitaliy talked about Japanese Shuhari concept which describes the stages of learning to mastery, which sometimes is applied to other disciplines, such as programming.
Every Java Talks attendee had one thing in common: the passion for knowledge and the desire to learn new things. The attendees at each event asked questions, participated in the discussions.
From a Java Talks enthusiast, attending the Krakow event:
“Attending Java Talks was one of the most enriching experiences I’ve ever had — it was invaluable and gave me the opportunity to be a part of this amazing community.”
